A Walk into Childhood

Walking with the clouds
On this terrestrial plains
Takes me back to
Cosy walks with u
When every day was a mystery
Every corner an adventure
Every word from ur mouth
The beginning of an untold story of
Elaborate tales from lands afar

Where has all that euphoria gone
Where is all that innocence now

I remember the reassuring warmth
That ur presence meant
The security that ur voice lent
Over every shadow of doubt and darkness
The illumination that u showered
On my innocent eyes
The dreams that ur smiles espoused
Treasured in a heart
Until mildew chased them out

Oh, where has all that innocence gone
Where has all the mystery gone.
