Tribute to the bold return of the otter.

The come-back of the Otter by B℮n

He Who Dares.

Hushed and hydrated,
Water-wet otters,
Timorous creatures,
Dissension dislike.

Hostile approaches,
Raising reactions.
Daring offensives
Unnerving the pike.

Opposing behaviour
Self-will underpins.
Courage in warfare
Means he who dares
....................... wins!

Though I loved your fine poem, Fay, I am no fan of otters, being the fisherman that I am. Every since Walt Disney portrayed them as fun-loving creatures, their real nature has been well hidden, at least by folks who haven't encountered them personally! They have a bad habit frightening the fish away from an area like no other water critter! Still, your charming poem is another of your many beautiful writes! Carl.

A pleasant expression of fitness ruling, even in the seeming calm of the pond. Well penned and fun for the ears inside the head. Warm regards, John.
