Dawn - A senryu series
at the crack of dawn
the sun's first rays peep in
a new day begins
sounds of chirping birds
those early morning risers
time to awaken
morning glory blooms
nature's gift to one and all
that brings a smile
the unfinished dreams
are quietly set aside
work takes precedence

Very lovely tribute to the wonder and delight of an unclouded glorious daybreak dawning....spoiling happy dreams, unfortunately. Hmm. Beautiful and interesting, addressing two perspectives on the issue. I like it.
