Sonic Mosaics

When five winds take the stage
a spectrum of sound envelops our psyches
like mosaic icons set in sanctuary walls -
part reflection, part refraction
crafted from a timbral palette as rich
as the cutter's store of fine tinted glass.

It's a confluence of several souls as well -
five "ones" pledged to unity -
life-breath filtered through lumber, metal,
reeds and oscillating shafts of air.

A quintet of master artisans
crafting monuments of tonal vision
that will out test time and
shine on in the sonic memories
of all who gather as witnesses
long after the hall falls silent.

Music feeds the soul...you have expressed the beauty of "Five Winds Taking the Stage"...and I am wanting to be in the grand middle of it all...This is a beautiful verse and I am feeling so happy imagining the sound. Dorothy A Poet Who Loves To Sing

The liberation of music both as the instrument the plays the instrument and the the instrument that listens to the instrument. We are light and sound. Wonderful thought here. A poet friend//RHPeat
