Just a short write after feeling so sad today. Check out my blog at http://sanarosewrites.blogspot.com/ to get a deeper look to this poem. Or the poet... of course, only if you want to.

You'll Never Know...

You'll never know
How much I weep,
How many tears I keep...

You'll never know
How much I love,
How many days I have...

You'll never understand
The clouds that rain from me,
Nor why the clouds form...

Nor why I plead you
To fill the void in my heart...
Nor why I was so afraid...

Who said memories are forever...?
What if I lose it, and can't remember you
When you want to show me your love...?

It'd kill me, and you...

Everyday you get a ticket to love;
In the end what counts is
How many tickets you spent,
Not how many you got...

You well describe that sad longing we get when we wonder if another can really fill the void, and what value does our love have... sad and lovely poem

My thoughts and love are with you Sana and crying can soothe our pain. I like Meggie's (our Angel) comment. Straight from your heart this poem tells me you are overwhelmed by life and its complexities and perhaps you need a rest to "just be" and meditate on the beauty of nature~

It is more beautifully presented on your blog; thanks for the address. Indeed there is also more explanation and expose of the authoress there as well. A mournful, bittersweet plea for what man mayhap never really can offer or satisfy. The Word of God is true, since He declares it is, and He says "Oh that men would praise the LORD for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! For He satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness......O taste and see the the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in Him." He is indeed good and satisfies the soul. I am sorry you are suffering. If only His Word might comfort you.

Sadness affects us all in different ways. As long as you don't surrender control to it, it's a part of the process (The dubious upside being, it often provides some pretty good material... like the example above).

Seeking blog traffic in the midst of sadness (Oh the shame....). Alas, the ironies of life... But I suggest....collect all the tickets you can and save them for a rainy day. That seems to work One should always keep a few tickets in reserve. Love is rarely ever what we really hope and always is just what it is. Trying to get it to conform to our wishes never does any good.
