Doer or Doee

A employer employs
employees.
Those drafted become draftees.
A leaser leases to alessee

Duties are entrusted
to a trustee
and a payer pays
a payee.

The inducted become
inductees.
The nominated are
nominees.

So how can it be?
I just don't see
How an escaper can be
an escapee.
