NOWNESS by flaviarosales

Nowness.

The past plucks back with violined pull of recall, tuned
to find music as it strings along
minds toward circular tours of nostalgic shadowland.

Memory takes on rose colours all of its own.

The future has illusions, brassy attachments get ready
to allow unfettered fate
its head and is unconcerned who takes alluring bait.

Borrowed acceptance paints musical fear.

The present moment plays different melodies, made
of notes removed from any
but clear, insistant pure sound hued with nowness

Staying with Now contains all that we need.

Yes, the best is to stay with the NOW and do your best to enjoy and be happy in it. The past is gone, the future is not here yet, but how you think today, that will be your tomorrow. However, I let go and let God bring me the tomorrow and I am grateful for EVERYTHING. This is the secret of life to true happiness. Once you do not expect anything, you do not have disappointment.

Make hay while the Sun shines! Past is past, future we are yet to see and what is in hand is the present which we shall use the best we can!
