Flight of imagination.

Dream

Title: Dream
By: Irma Mey

Close your eyes and dream ...
I'm singing you a lullaby.
Then, watch the window for a beam
of moonlight on the rye.

Dream, dream my friend, dream on ...
You'll see me in the light of day.
Gliding upon a ray;
a ray of sunlight o'er the bay.

Right into heather pink and white;
Oh, what a beautiful sight, to see such glorious light,
reflecting like a plight
to my bedazzled sight.

I really like this. The imagery has a surreal quality about it that complements to near perfection the shimmering transience of a dream. Well done indeed!
