some things are never forgotten....

A Box Full of Sky by ohwhatachristy

Memories Rising

Sometimes it seems

it never happened:

"the nightmare"

But then I look up

and they're not there

And once again,

I remember. . .

that dark day

The world will never forget this nightmare you write so clearly and sensitively write about Sonya. These things seem to happen to someone else and not us, but it was real and I agree with Munia to let us pray for the souls who have departed~

yes i feel those haunting memorys in visions apocalyptic. All we can do is remember while giving our blessings to those who fell or who are related more intimately.

There's an air of disbelief surrounding this monumental tragedy, Sonya, that shines through in every line of this heart touching poem... I'm sure many are asking, how such a devastating event could have occurred - a moving reminder of such loss. Well written.
