inspired by a photograph (you MUST look at it!!)

Do You Remember?

Do you remember the road
we had walked together
holding hands promising
to love each other?

Do you remember the fork
where the road had parted?
Do you remember the tears,
the hurt, the heart-break?

Do you remember love?
Do you remember at all
Or have you thrown
away the pictures?

I cannot upload the picture but please use the link above to look at it. It's from this amazing website called dearphotograph.com which features photos of people taken in the present superimposed on a photo of the same place in the past (or vice-versa).

The ostensibly paralyzing pain of Love lost and the need to purge its myriad accompaniment of grief, rue, anger, sorrow and angst in addressing they who have caused all these emotions within you, is so well depicted here, Missy! You Rock ! ~FjR~
