Written for RHPeat's poetry class...

Stroke

A single drop of rain
falls blindly then
becomes the whole pond; an inkling

lost, unable to find
its own edges.
Abandoned within a newly

fierce and painful turmoil
of threaded hope -
knowing full well despair will be

a more brutal challenge
than reaching out
to attempt this thing known as “swim”.

An excellenet one on the first read and one savours the sweetness that fills the mouth in the heart ....yes despair is a bigger challange to cope up with than to go all out and throw our limbs at the turbulent waters and feel the oneness of universe outside and within.....

Cool elementa effect, K. I get the distinct feeling of something careening out of control : 0
