God is crying because of our world by fandrey14

Mosquito Bites the Divine

God gazed in pain,
As a mosquito
Dressed in
A dark wraparound
and topless top
Did a ballet
Running around
Adam’s waist grounds…..
Grinding and crushing
His veins,
Crushing
His grounds
She danced,
Moving
To the tunes
Of devil’s
Mandolin
She danced……..

Crushed
From her
Musical Death Metal,
Adam slept
Wrinkled
On a rosy dorm,
Blood oozing
Bewitched
By her witchy
ways, mesmerized
yet wounded
he Stood,
And Waited
for a healer,
Drowsed in mosquito
Lullabies
Shivering to
The devil’s melodies
Lamenting to
Beats of Anvil’s hammer ,
patiently waiting
To be taken
To the maker
Tormented by
Sorrows of Easter...

Adam waited, waited
and waited,
Patiently
till death's
Minions will come
From grave
To take him to
the Garden of peaceful
Redemption, till
they come
to take him
to the abyss
of death
he waited..

While he prayed,
Patiently
For the arrival
Of devil’s escorts,
God gazing
At the scene
From heavens
LOOKING AT
HIS OWN CREATION
His mosquito bitten masterpiece,
Damning himself
Let out a volcanic
Sigh of repentance,
And Cursed himself
For blessing
A wretched creature
with a life
That he never
Ever wanted

Nice to read the minstrels effort and provide the unstoppable giggles to your readers via your mastery witty ways , but being humanitarian I wish you would have let us know where Adam was bitten for it may have been why he did not want being born cheers...regards

Highly original as usual Shan and and I love "volcanic sigh of repentance" as that would be one HUGE sigh indeed! You title would make a fantastic headline in the newspaper you work for (lol) and your presentation with the picture is awesome, and the whole poem is awesome too!!!

Now I'm living in Texas, those mosquitoes are causing grief, and your poem says just that with a tongue in cheek poetic wit that has me smiling. Your love for words shines through, as ever, Shan, and your excitement for language is contagious. :)

A high powered write this is Shan - - with hidden inuendo methinks in the first lines - - that dark wraparound is saying more than at first seems....... an impressive verse.

Mosquito Libido....Neato! Once bitten - twice shy! We'd never know we didn't want life if we didn't have it.... Might as well make the best of it. Guess there is some reason for all life! There must be a little true story behind this poem...because the dark wraparound was a little too easy to imagine...saying nothing about her beautiful features....the mosquito's
