Moon over Carribean Sea by thepracticalsurveyor

Misty Moon

Misty Moon commands the magic sea
as lovers run unafraid and free,
seductively into this starless night
enticed on a fearless lovers flight
of foam soaked bodies, lure of tide,
pounding surf, while passions ride
bound in gravitational flow,
smell of ocean, ephemeral glow
leading lovers hand in hand,
into tomorrow; cool silver sand
on salty skin, sea grass swaying
toward the dunes, laughing, playing
Misty Moon.

Chasing itself from its romantic introduction to its perfect conclusion tying all together, flowing with the excitement of the love romancing, this is too beautiful, a wonderful snapshot capturing some of the moment's ambiance somehow it seems. Delicious with excellent rhyming and imagery. I quite enjoyed it.

I love the way this flows on and on to its conclusion, without getting tied up in the length of the single sentence. Memory or fantasy? the question is unimportant; it has poetical truth regardless of historical facts.

Beautiful imagery; A Misty moon is always associated with mysticism but this is a wonderful way to portray its romantic allure. Loved it.
