Hope

The tranquillity of a thunderstorm
And the silence of the rage
The never ending sound
Of just one single drop of rain.

The passion of a silent stare
And the quintessence of the world
The immenseness of a little care
Wrapped in a golden word.

The rainbow in a tear
Across the blueness of your sky
The feeling that You are near
Whenever I might sigh.

The presence of unthinkable
And all the beauty of what’s grim
The never doubting of
What’s True and never dim.

The realisation of
What is never a surprise
The final resting place
That never really was disguised.

The shining of the sunlight
In the deepest shadow of your heart
The revelation that
There is no place that’s dark...

Nice to read your poem after a long time David ! Though the final resting place has no disguise , the poem does end with a message of Hope and all darkness being swallowed up by God's light ! -Raj
