The Roller Coaster

Life is crashing down
Breaking down.
It is not how it truly is.
I'm riding down on a roller coaster.
Its the scariest thing going on.
Focused on not dying.
Its stopped in the middle of the down slope.
Stuck but the roller coasters broken.
What gets me going is the fact I know there's a repairman.
He'll come save the day.
We'll all finish out the ride and it would have been a blast.
For now it will feel like we're almost crashing.
Holding on to someones hand and grasping for hope.
This is how it is.

...and life goes on. Wonderful detail here. The thought of being stuck on a busted roller coaster has that ability to get a shiver or two, and I'd sure be hoping all the repairmen weren't considering a strike. A nifty write. Loved it. tfs

Affecting. Sounds like one of those situations where people say, " Someday we'll all be laughing about this."
