I picked a paper
To write a poetry,
And sensed a fragrance of forests
Those were destroyed
In the world for papers.
An animal
In the form of word
Dragged me into the forest.
I too
Desired to born like animals
And intrigued with them.
A tiger
Asked me the
Meaning for “Combating”
A dog
Asked me the
Meaning for “Gratefulness”
When I met a dear
That asked me the
Meaning for “Self-esteem”
When I met a donkey
That asked me the meaning
for “Tolerance”
To bear dirtiness’ of others.
When I met a camel
That asked my “Capability”
To cross a desert,
When I met a horse
That Asked my talent
In “Racings”
A cow
Asked my “Acceptance” of dead calf
Camouflaged with straw
During milking.
When I met an elephant
That asked me
The art of “Blessings”.
When I met a cat
That asked my “eye vision”
in the night.
When I met a kangaroo
That asked me
“Is it possible for me to harness
Both male and female babies
Without any discrepancy”
NOW….
I have decided to born
As human
So that I could be real animal.
Because animals are not animal
As they do more than human.
(Purakkal Maraintha Iravu- By Pazhanibharathi)
True! We can learn so much from them! It is very painful and shameful to think of what a great harm does a human being to every form of life. With each question , my heart jumped, wanting to scream but can't because that's me, the human being that can feel and see the truth but keep destroying this wonderful place, with only one button push: "in or out cash machine". Back to the cave, there should be my own place. Thank you for sharing this wonderful poem.
