Lost. by Matt Borkowski

Lost?

she is lost...

or so it seems--everything around her looks
a little strange

did she miss her stop
did she lose her way
or could it be things have changed so much
since she went away

she is lost...

or so it seems--or could it be that yesterday
was just a dream

Oh, Sonya, I love this poem. It's déjà vu, And the past, present and future are one. Has spirit climbed the same mountain again or crossed the same burning desert? We must question our own existence again while walking or water or fire. We are confused in the moment's lesson as it repeats itself. This is very well done. A poet friend//RH Peat

Ugh! The horror of being lost! This conveys it beautifully both in the perfect visual image and the poem, evoking the lurking horror, and delightfully suggesting the deeper cause. Lovely! I really like it, though it stirs that terror of its reality.

Wow, no one writes like you do, this sounds like a song. I can imagine it the centerpiece/starter of some very mysterious movies. ;)

Yes! That's how I've been feeling recently. The photo matches perfectly. I'm flattered my little poem inspired you, Sonya. Blessings

Oh, how you capture that feeling of disorientation perfectly in this poem that uses repetition to great effect... it gives that feeling of going round in circles. Great stuff!! :)

Great combination. She's certainly in an unfamiliar area. It looks like she is carrying a camera, so she must be a tourist. I like our arrangement and internal rhymes.

The perfect picture for your theme Sonya and dreamy poets like me can certainly get lost, particularly in another city. An intriguing poem indeed!

Inventive and clever portrayal of the chosen image Sonya. The question mark after the title gives intrigue to the content.
