Kissed by moonlight

Silver teardrops random fell,
kissed by moonlight on her face.
Touched by soft caressing lips,
until a smile, had took their place.

Shadows cast on sullen eyes,
passed as if the sun had shone.
The twilight slowly crept away,
twas then I knew her life was gone.

Your turn words into silver and crystal and satin and pain and intoxication, you are a poets lover.

The silver teardrops melted me from the start. You have captured the ebb and sorrow of lost love so beautifully.

A wistful and sad transition towards the final line - well chosen length gives the verse a flow of peace.

Not the poem I expected at all when I read the title. A very pleasing surprise (although I think I spy a typo in "caressing").
