The unheard song.

Through eyes of hazy cobalt blue,

A world that passes by,

Trapped within a broken shell,

With little urge to try.

Thoughts that bounce and spin and turn,

But never see the light,

Their returned to corners of the mind,

Locked up and kept out of sight.

Fragile links that came undone,

Connections that disengaged,

Unfinished patterns, invalid sums,

No data to fill the page.

Feelings show where thoughts do not,

Through every way that’s known,

Happiness, sadness, fear and anger,

All can be brought home.

Yet never known why each is felt,

No explanation follows on,

Pure emotions flooding out,

But no lyrics join the song.
