...............................Taitriya Upanishad

The Name is not enough

Rewinding time,
I go back by years,
To find my quantum of solace!

Ever since happiness,
Heard my name,
It has been running,
Through streets,
Trying to find me!

Who is in control of my happiness?

Moderation!

No God is love unlimited!
How can I limit my love for you Angel?

The journey into,
The heart of happiness,
Reminds me to smile,
The long forgotten treasure,
Ritualized in my daily life,
Making unnatural wrinkles,
Which outnumber the natural!

Is freedom more important to happiness?
Yes happier holidays,
In between crucifying schooldays,
With a longing for more weekends,
Happiness was like shower,
During a tiresome sunny day!

Delight, chagrin,
Dismay and delight,
Come over and over to me!
Shall I counter with love and connection,
Kindness and cool?
Will endurance take me along?
Why all these cosmetics,
With huge loads of care and responsibility?

Can I rewind my time?

Sense of limitations,
Strikes me hard,
Heart is gloomy,
In search of peace,
Is it a room, dark for a day,
Or a week or year?

I don’t have an answer!
I switch on the light,
It is illuminated in an instant,
I try to control my capacity for love and affection,
The light has already been turned on!

Will I lose anything important,
If I cease to worry,
About right and wrong,
Good and evil?
Is it okay if I maximize wellbeing,
My own and others?

My journey continues,
With your care extending protection,
In and around me,
Entrapping me in love bonds,
That will outlive time, space and place!

The notion of happiness running to find us is just wonderful Raja - I love the whole flow of this verse taking the reader to face love's many facets and ending with still a continuing journey.
