Shadow Over A Puddle - 57/365 by ~Lynn~

My Musings-1- Behind

Right was walking-all silence-
alongside my left;
walking close behind was Wrong
talking aloud all nonsense,
prompting me to walk the talk,
trying to drag me in…

Left, whom I left out,
as I stepped out of my hut-
this journey- now I feel-
was probably no less right
for he had cautioned me
to have a close watch
as to who would walk behind
and who would talk sense…

Oh, a reminder of my mother always whispering in my ear "It's your little red wagon, you can push it or pull it!"...The voice on the right side...I love this conversation on both sides of you...wonderful poem, Kesav. Dorothy A Poet Who Loves To Sing

I agree with everyone a great play with words, walking through life with the witness to it all....we should listen to both the right and the left....otherwise we fall!

this one is deep and fun and a great lesson, wow!! Thank you for share, I read it again and again and I can't stop my smile, love it!! ..by the way most times I feel that those right ones like to walk behind and keep quiet- so I may be totally wrong and noisy, but I will have to listen to the warnings too -one day, and try to catch and hold life's pointless sense..

very clever use of words Kesav to drive your point home. life has become a board game, where ones who win are street smart. better be careful rather than repent later.
