“Errand of Mercy”

Contemplating a distant land
the colour of night deepens
The hazy dark
has turned into
a remorseful bloody hue
But the murkiness
still awaits the poor visibility
determined by the light of existence

And this is not the dawn’s slumber
Nor even the fall of the dark
This is an eclipse of the night
An errand of mercy

"the light of existence... an eclipse of the night..." those two lines sum it all up for me...if i could touch your poem... i imagine it would feel as soft as the soft bristles of a bird's feather. Cheers! :)

Spooky and you have created intriguing images to haunt your readers. The murk, the black, the hazy dark all add to the stark black and white (on the page) atmosphere. I almost expect an animated ghost to fall down the page. The diversity of your poetry is wonderful Munia~

Lovely! Tinged so eerily, and hauntingly intriguing, this is very fascinating with delightful imagery, conjuring vague murky visions of this unknown moment, that chances to be an "errand of mercy." Well done.

So cool! Present moments are notorious for their nonexistent attention spans. As soon as we're aware of them, they're gone : /
