Poetry is an avocation for me. Music is my profession. I conduct the Belleville Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorale in Illinois. I compose both instrumental and vocal music and also teach and play flute. Here is a link to a recording of my Piano Sonata:

I believe ever so strongly in the parallels between music and poetry and try to find the poetry in music and the music in poetry. It's all very delicious. That's my story and I'm stuck to it like flypaper which I hope never catches Einstein's fly.

My wife Robin puts up with all of this and sings beautifully and takes great pictures. I don't know what our dog Hannah thinks of all of this but we all seem to like each other.
