To whomever:

I've been writing poetry since 1960. Have been published in US, India, Japan, and New Zealand. Have read poetry in a lot of strange places from rock concerts to pubs, radio and television, book stores to basements. I was very active in the Sacramento area poetry scene for a number of years. I've read my poetry at open mic's whenever I could find one. I sponsored poetry readings in my home town for visiting poets which had open mic-readings for teens and visiting poets through a grant from Poets And Writers. I have taught poetry for a number of years. I personally experiment with all kinds of poetry from classical forms like the sonnet to free-verse to concrete poetry.

I like a comment that gives me something to think about, the good, bad, and the ugly are all quite fine with me. I like it hot and spicy on the grill and very greasy. Here's a little poem to show you what I mean.

GET YOUR REVOLVERS

So load ‘em up
and shoot your guns;
I'm all target.
Look me in the bulls-

eye and take direct aim.
I want to hear
the squeeze of your
trigger's report.
