Great to be here, sharing our common love - poetry and imagination and insight.
I see poetry as fun and liberating...and a poem, to me, must have one or all of these qualities:
* something worth recording
* great rhythm
*a sense of fun or pure mischief
*challenging one's assumptions
* original * a sincere intent to communicate
* 'recitable' & excitable...
So let's get to to it - let's make poetry!
