Born a year before India's Independence . Graduated in English Literature from the Presidency College Calcutta in 1966 . Later , joined the IAF and retired as a Group Captain & settled permanently in New Delhi . While in service obtained a first class MBA degree by attending evening classes . Fond of reading writing poetry. Also interested in Philosophy , Astronomy , History , Jazz Music & Spirituality ! I am also fond of drawing & painting . Have written poems on all these subjects . I have also composed 'The History of Ancient Greek Philosophy in Verse' ; and also 'The History of Medieval Philosophy in Verse '! Till date no one has written this History in Verse ! Currently composing the 'True Story of English Literature in Verse' - all five parts available on 'Poetfreak.com' on my current Archive page ! In "Poemhunter.com" I have around 500 poems posted as Raj Nandy. I am also a Homeopath , who does philanthrophic service!. I would love to associate and learn from the members of this site ! This is a great site and I am a Member for the last three years !
