Hearts, my grandmother Margaret Alice is
Cinderella, my eldest brother is Attilla, the
Hun, my second brother is Ivan the Terrible
from Syberia, my third brother is Peter Pan
from Neverland, my twin sis the peppery-
tongued Duchess, I am Alice in Wonderland
and my youngest brother is Tom Thumb

Given that my father is Conan, more like Alfred
P Dolittle from Pygmalion, I am a little savage, a
veritable Eliza who shouts ‘Come on Dover, move
your bloomin’ arse! and I wonder whether I shall
ever find Professor Higgins to teach me proper
diction, and what character you might be –

though I already have a Caterpillar friend…

I studied English, German and French and majored
in philosophy and I am a dedicated bookworm who
love words that dance, sing and jump, so that doing
translations of boring official documents is become
a sore trial for my restless soul, seeking the creation
chord of the universe and dreaming of joining the
Listening Monks on the Ramtops, oh yes, I love the
Disc World series by Terry Pratchett…
