Did you know that skin is the largest organ in the human body?
My skin, like everything else in the my life, is complicated.
You look at my arms, pale, white, smooth except for a few scattered freckles.
You look at my hands, a small 90 degree scar marks the bottom left corner of my right hand.
Half peeling dark green nail polish covers my nails.
My knuckles, ugly and bitten by teeth from an anxious wreck.
A few light scars from a cat shows through on my fingers.
You look at my legs
From the left they are smooth and muscular.
The right side is a different story.
Layers of horizontal thin white lines start at my thigh and end at my ankle.
A physical representation of too many thoughts.
