A Pocketful of Dreams (10 line poem)

We all have aspirations
and hopes and dreams...
And if we don’t, my friend,
there doesn’t appear to be
much significance in facing
an empty tomorrow.

No matter how few
No matter how trivial
A pocketful of dreams unlocks
A bucketful of possibilities.

  • Very nice and very true ( as Lynda says). I like the arrangement and the theme, the title wraps it up well with the last line, and the picture complements the poem superbly!27 Apr 2012 by
